Welcome to Oil Tech Talk
I created this site for my fellow technicians around the world. My
goal is to continue to learn how to do my job to the best of my
ability, and to share what I learn with you.
We learn by asking questions, and there is no such thing as a dumb
question. Each time any of us asks a question, thousands of other
technicians learn from the responses they read here on Oil Tech Talk.
This site continues to grow. And more and more of the folks outside
our trade will find their way here, seeking knowledge, advice, and
sometimes, just our thoughts. I believe it’s important to
remember that any of these people could be our next customer. Or
maybe they already are our customer?
Either way, I have always felt strongly in my heart (and I felt this
way long before I created Oil Tech Talk), that as a technician and a
professional, part of my duty is to educate the consumer. It’s
important for us to receive continuing education, and it’s
equally important for us to educate the consumer. I hope you agree.
So, welcome to Oil Tech Talk. Post a question, or answer one if you
don’t mind sharing your knowledge with our community. The more
we share, the better we all are.
